Dr. Travis treats
children and adults for all conditions of the skin, hair and
nails including eczema, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, age
spots/brown spots, hair loss, cysts and skin cancers. Since
serious complications from skin cancer can be avoided if it is
detected and treated early, Dr. Travis encourages all of her
patients to have yearly full body skin cancer screenings. If a
skin cancer is found and needs removal, Dr. Travis can perform
surgery in her office under local anesthesia.

Dr. Travis
encourages all patients to request a full skin exam so that she
can identify any suspicious lesions. When a skin cancer is
suspected, Dr. Travis will perform a biopsy to get a definitive
diagnosis. Most skin cancers can typically be treated easily in
the office under local anesthesia. They can usually be cured if
they are found and treated in a timely manner. Treatments
include surgical removal or a procedure called

Dr. Travis
performs many forms of skin rejuvenation including Sclerotherapy
for leg veins, Facial Blood Vessels and Brown Spot Removals,
Chemical Peels, Botox and Dermal Fillers (Restylane, Perlane,
Juvederm). These “fillers” are used by Dr. Travis to give her
patient’s a more youthful appearance. This is achieved by using
these products to diminish wrinkles, restore volume in the upper
and lower face and provide fullness to lips.
A topical anesthetic is applied before the procedure to minimize
discomfort.
